Default Shifter thread size

Anybody know off the top of their heads what the thread size is for our shifters? Need to buy a new one. The one I have now is held on with allen screws and it's all messed up. My next one I want is a screw on. Thanks.

You may not like the shifters that have threads, however the "quality" ones from Sparco, etc. all use the crappy allen screws. I'v never had luck with those either. If you really like one of those type shifters, then I would jb weld it on. If for whatever reason you want to change it, then you can pick up another shift lever on ebay or junkyard.
