Heh it runs a lot richer than 14:1 with a CEL. N/A without a CEL the cars are like 11.5:1, with a CEL the ECU dumps more fuel so its probably 10.5:1 or worse.

well regardless, it remains constant correct? so it leaves you to set the safc2 to w.e. and it will remain that way because the ecu will not readjust accordingly

The problem I had was that the wire that the rpm signal was so weak from the line and when I tapped into it, it killed both my rpm tach on my odometer, and wouldnt let the SAFC read rpms. I was going to run it to an MSD adapter but i forget why, i never did lol. That might be your problem tho, check on the SAFC if its reading your rpms.

^^^^^^ thats what Im saying man !

Im sure you can use the SAFC2, but still you may need things like a better fuel pump, or bigger injectors.

ok, the SAFC on a boosted setup will not work very well, and you wont be able to tune it worth SHIT..

with a boosted setup, emanage and SMT are the lowest fuel management you wanna go with, or you will have problems.

I didnt get your pm bro i just checked again to make sure... but anyway i bought the safc II thinking it could fine tune it for my turbo setup and you can but like everyone says its not your best route ive been running my car for over a year and a half with no known problems you can tune it but you will get lean spots the ecu just dosent work well with the safc II, there is alot of info on here about it you just gotta take the time to sit it read, but you dont wanna just jump into turbocharging your ride research it, i wish i would of myself a little bit more. i dont know if he still comes around but he has an elantra turbocharged his names yamaha ( on RDtiburon ) i belive he had some success tuning his car for i wanna say 10 psi but dont quote me on that. Smt seemed to be the choice next to standalone from what i have read. Wish i could be more help but im no expert, my best advice is just read and reread dont take someones advice unless you really trust what they say and still check it out for yourself. Remember your the one who has to pay to fix your ride when it breaks.

no doubt there brother...thats why im trying to figure this shit out before i do anything..im thinking if you thro a cel from an o2 sensor and then do all your tuning after that, the system will work becuase the ecu will not change anything, it will just run that constant air/fuel ratio.....but im not sure on this...

after i reset my ecu and before the cel comes on, the settings i put into the safc2 dont really work because as i set them and look at the a/f ratio gauge it changes as i drive even tho i just set everything up...but after i thro a cel and re adjust the a/f ratios they remain constant and give me constant readings no matter how long i drive....so im thinking if i tho an 02 sensor fault, then set everythign up after that the safc2 should work with the ecu..
