Rear High Stop 3rd brake light out
I need to fix this, I bought tested the new brake light for it on the car battery and it works.. but after wiring and splicing new wires it does not work. Checked all fuses. I used search function but cannot find any wiring diagrams or the exact fuse for the rear spoiler brake light (high stop brake light). Could someone give me a little information about this circuit, exact fuse location (engine bay or under dash) etc, and how to fix the high stop 3rd brake light? Its a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon RD2. My hyundai Tiburon is due for inspection in 2 months I moved out of town and have plenty of time to fix this. :hahaspit:

For the Elantra, but maybe close enough. RD platform still, anyway. |
where is the Stop Lamp Switch located?

It's up under the dash by your brake pedal.

Can I wire my third brake light to one of the brake light wires would it fix it? and add a higher fuse ?

They share the same fuse, according to that diagram. Just make sure you route the new wires out of harm's way and you "should" be ok wiring from one of the rear stop lamps. Just don't grab some turn signal wires by mistake! It's better (in theory) to fix the proper wires of course, but it's your car.
