Is it possible to mount a RD2 bumper if you get the hatch, the bumper and everything else onto a RD1?? It looks like once the bumpers away you'll be able to put in the RD2 tail lights and what not. I got a chance to get one at my local junkyard for dirt cheap.

 

You would have to do some metal fabrication on the rear since RD1 and 2's have completely different tail lights from each other.

 

Yeah I know they got differen't tail lights but It kinda looks like it would mount up, Wasnt the rd1's and rd'1s exactly the same as in the fenders, doors and the roof/rear quarterpanels?

 

Same fenders, doors, side skirts and thats about it. Hatches, lights, hoods, and bumpers are all different and wont match up between the 2 gens.
