Default rd/gk compatability questions

Got a couple things planned for the evo, however have a couple of questions before i part with my cash.

1- aside from power steeting belt style, is there any difference between beta1 and beta2 pulleys? Ark have been out of stock of beta1 pulleys for ages, can i use beta2 pulleys?

2- whats the stock bore of a stock v6 tib throttle body?

TO MY KNOWLEDGE THE PULLYS ARE THE SAME. there isnt any need to change stuff like that. you would gain more power by just deleteing the P/S all together and saving the money from the pulleys for diffrent part of the build.

+1 for deleting power steering, but be sure to check local laws first. I had to put mine back in to pass inspection!

This is a noob question but,

Doesn't removing the ps make it very hard to turn?

How much power do you really gain and is it worth it?

If you building a track car then removing PS can help. You don't need it in high speed corners, but makes it impossible to steer in slow corners. Although i'd like my PS to be a little heavier and give some feedback when cornering on track, i don't want to remove it. I wanted to know if beta1 and beta2 PS pulleys are the same. I've since found out they aren't. Beta1 uses a v-groove. Beta2 uses 3 smaller grooves.

Also, don't be a sissy.

I actually have toothpick arms turning: 205 tires, with 2 degrees of caster, with lower offset wheels, in a FWD with a power steering rack. If I can do it, ANYONE can.
