I have one 10" random orbital for when I wax and polish my car with a few different types of pads. I was wondering if anyone has actually purchased a second one to use when removing polish or wax? Because right now when I polish I do a body panel, stop, remove the pad, put a different pad on to remove the polish, put the polishing pad back on, and repeat. If I were to have a 2nd orbital I wouldnt have to spend the time of removing and reapplying the pads after each panel on one orbital. I feel like it would be more efficient and easier but is this a stupid idea? Orbitals are so cheap these days, I think a $20 or $25 investment into a second one would be worth it or am I wrong with this idea?
