Default Quad-throttle body setup

I've heard about a quad-throttle setup for Tibs and/or Elantras where the modified intake manifold has 4 TB's with air horns coming off of it. Does anyone have more information on this? I think it would be good for cowl induction.

Man, it's been a while since this one was dragged out.

To make a long story short, it would be damn hard to get it to work in the USA. The QTB needs a MAP sensor, not a MAF sensor.

I think HVE eventually scrapped the QTB, but I can't find the link that says that, so I may be wrong.

Read up the QTB here....

argh...curses, foiled again. Looks it's back to stealing uranium for my flux capacitor.

Bastard MAF sensor. Why can't we just get cheap big power?

Hell yeah, Thanks Random!! A friend of mine is a pilot at O'Hare Airport and a master thief indeed. I think my street is long enough to try that out on...there's only about 17 or so stop signs. I'll have my friend type up the post to tell you how loud the impact was..goodbye friends

btw...I don't need no stinking brackets. I'll just hold it out the window!

*lol* Nah, just open the tailgate and wedge it between the front seats. That way you can am it down just a little to make sure you don't go airborne.... *GRIN*

For those of you who wonder....Here's the aledgely "real" basis for the JATO car story....

I suggest you take them BOTH with a grain of salt....
