Hey all. I have an '01 Tibby.. and for some reason my windows just FLIPPED off? neither of the buttons work, so I know it's not the motor. I took it into the dealership and they checked everything manfactured: switches, relays, motors.. whatever. They said it might be because of something I have wired extra. The only thing I can think that was wired extra was the alarm box is mounted inside the driver side door.. under the door panel. Also, my dad said it could be something with the racing seats I have just recently installed. Maybe the seat is pinching a wire off? The Hyundai dealership simply said: it wasnt getting power. Any suggestions or ideas? They would be greatly appreciated.. I don't know WHAT to do.. thanks!

Loyen, lots of tibs do that.
Only fix is (from what I've read) a voltage stabalizer, such as the Sun Auto Hot Inzama one from kspec.

my windows have had issues since it was new, some times they just wont roll up when i have them down, hyundai replaced the drivers side switch once a few years back. but they still have issues. i just have to push the button alot, and they usually start to work.

mine does this sometimes and what I've found it to be is that the auto window button gets stuck. if it does it must kick some switch inside the door so the motor isn't pulling down the whole time your driving around. then when you go to roll it up it won't. but if you wait 10 seconds or so it's fine. The only solution i've come to is when you use the auto down button make sure it pops back up. I'm thinking i might just remove the part inside that causes it to stick. I usually hold down both buttons anyways because I'm rolling down the passenger side.
