I found this out a while ago but didn't really care until now. But why is it that i can't unlock my doors from the passengers side? I turn the key and its doesn't do anything not even just unlock the passenger door. Why bother having a key slot there?

we have centrifical locks which is why the pass door wont unlock yours.

we dont have true powerlocks in our cars. the lock system works on a master/slave deal, the pass will slave and do what ever the driver door does seince the driver door is the master. but if you try to lock or unlock the pass door its going just do its own thing.

hope that kind of explains it for you guys. the way to solve this is with power door lock actuators, you just lock and unlock the doors through your alarms keychain cool.gif

They were referring to the problem being that from the passenger side, it is not possible to unlock the passenger door. They are having some kind of malfunction with there keyhole actuator or something about that.
