I'm having problems with my headlights.

Neither the low or high beams work, nor does my fog lights.

Anyone have any suggestions while it's still daylight out? sad.gif

Check to see if you're getting power to your leads. Could be Fuses, relays or even the switch on the steering column. But if I recall the lights are split left and right. Check the fusebox under the hood, to me, it sounds like that could be your source.

Where might the under hood fuse box be located?

SpideyShark 12-27-2009 12:53 PM

try searching "fuse box" and i believe majik did a write up on exactly what you need to know.

Or you could open your hood and look, there's really only one BOX in the engine bay, and it is FULL of fuses.

open your hood and look on the right hand side for a box with yellow writing that says fuses.

please also add the location to your profile.

if the fuses are allright you may want to check the main ground to see if it has come loose. it is located behind the bumper ,on the passenger side, just to the right of the radiator. not too hard to find since it is the only wire in that area that is bolted right to the rad support.

There is a Sticky in this forum for fuse information: http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=15789

I don't think it's going to help you much though. Give us as much information as possible.

1. Do tail lights work when the headlights are in the ON position?
2. What about brake lights when the pedal is pressed?
3. Does the radio work? If you have a sunroof, does it work?

Some of these are tied to similar fuses. It'll help us narrow it down. For fogs, low, and high beams to not work is really weird. I'm not sure what would cause that.

That's what I thought the only problem could be if the fuse was good.....

Until one day I helped someone with their headlamps and found out it was two bad bulbs. LOL!
