I'm getting airram, Rside BBTB, short shifter and the underdrive pulley from kspec now. I'm just wondering, are there any more performance items I should get? I'm getting a 10% discount from them since I'm using a bit of cash. I'm thinking about the gt cam, or should I get this from some other site? Also thinking about getting the beta 2 cover set.

Don't get the GT cam, get the 1.8L Intake cam.

Also, get the Beta 2 valve cover ASAP, you'll love it.

Just follow the usual mod list if you're going n/a:

Intake
Headers/exhaust
BBTB
Airam
Cam
SAFC
Head Porting

If you can afford it, find a REAL n/a cam, not the 1.8/GT one.

ok. Is it hard to install the cam? And the 1.8 cam is good for my car?

My current DOHC cover does not fit because I have aftermarket plug wires the are higher then the org. wires. Is the dohc beta 2 cover any higher? If not I'll have to get some new wires to. I know I'm not all the good at describing what I mean, but I hope you get the picture. Hehe. wink1.gif

I agree that if you can get the REAL camit would be better (but it needs to be coupled to a reprogrammed ECU; so both are far more expensive than the 1.8 Cam).

Except in that list I'd move the Cam right below the Headers Exhaust, it worked wonders for me and I did it in that order, the 1.8 cam is something you will really feel if you already have an intake and exhaust.

I meant a real cam as in something better than a 1.8/GT. Not Real Eng. specifically. The SAFC would be able to tune the gains for a cam which is why I put it directly after that.

http://www.kspec.com

For the GT cam: http://www.kspec.com/list.php?ac_id=80&ai_id=717

Or you can get one out of a junkyard.

I can only find the 2.0l gt cam at kspec. Is this the same as the 1.8 intake cam? If I'm a moron here, could someone post a direct link to the 1.8 cam at kspec please?
