I've been trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with my power locks. I have a 00 tib and i have the hyundai keyless entry/alarm. Everytime i turn off my car or unlock it with the button there is this horrible grinding/buzzzz noise that comes from my drivers side door. It just started one day a few months ago and it keeps getting louder and louder. Its not a HUGE deal but it makes my car look/sound like a POS.

Help
Thanks

The door lock actuator on your drivers side is going tits up mang.

Thanks REDZ. The first owner had it replaced about 4 years ago and paid $105 for just the actuator. Am I looking at having to go through the deal to get the part?

Thanks

It's not a dealer part.

Just go to the local car alarm/stereo places, get a good one made by DEI. Tell them (call first), that you bought one from them before for $19.99 and want them to honor the price again. They'll try to sell it to you for 80 or more dollars, but they will sell it for that price.

I've learned, had to replace mine 2 times, because I bought a cheap one off of ebay.
