Some of you may know that I'm in the market to pick up a clean RD1 since mine keeps growing more rust. I live in Ohio so pretty much any RD is rotted out in the quarter. I was hoping people would be able to keep an eye out for me and let me know if anything pops up.
I'm only interested in the RD1, sorry the rd2 doesn't appeal to me, and needs to have a sunroof and be a manual. I'm willing to compensate people to even look at them since I can't just drive across the country to look at a tib.
Just let me know if you guys and gals find anything!

That's the bad thing about the North East.
Cars (unless stored in the winter) rust out sooooo easily and quick. Might have to try and see if there's anything down south or out west and have it shipped to you.

You're going to need a southern car. And since you only want an RD1, that's going to be hard to find.
This is the only one in the south/central Texas area. There's a few RD2's in my town though.

I can't believe these RD1's are going for $3000 still!!! I could make a $2700 profit off mine. lol

I have no problem with a southern car but I can't just up and take a road trip every time I find one especially being in Ohio. When I do find a decent one, either the owner stops responding when I ask for detailed pics or find out I'm in a different state.
Hence why I'm willing to compensate for people's time if they were to check out a tib I'm interested in. And Jon, feel free to sell me your RD1!

I see gks for sell all the time around me that are in decent shape. But I think I will entertain the thought of an rd2 as well but I have full intentions of doing the RD1 front end swap.
