If I were to pick an ideal hyundai, the one I'd absolutely love to build if money and time weren't an issue, it would be this:
Elantra Body and Frame
RD2 Tiburon Front End
Evo Engine and AWD swap
I was thinking about that on the way in this morning, and I realized that I haven't seen the tib nosed elantra in years, nor have I seen an evo swapped tib or elantra in just as long. So help me out here. smile.gif Find pics and swap threads and ball-blueing information and bring it together here to talk about what I think would be a perfect almost-hyundai. As far as I know no one has done both of these extreme mods at the same time, so look for the Tiblantra and an Evo-driven tib/elantra seperately.

we have diy for the gk lip, pretty much the same thing. that was kaijai's car if i remember right, ask him, lol.
my frankentib:
rd2 base model (no sunroof) w/ rd1 front bumper modified for s15 projector headlights and 05/06 gk bottom bumper
rd1 evo CF hood
rear hatch removed and turn into el camino style w/ the part between the tailights removed for loading/unloading a tricket out blata 6.2 pocket bike, lol.
rear bumper will have dual exhaust cutouts with the bottom of the bumper off a gk
evo motor and drivetrain
some kind of homemade wide body kit.
basically in the end you would have a awd minitruck called a "EL Koreano".

well original is up for debate then, cuz modding your car has always been copycating someone else...LMAO

^^ you do have a point there mwood but nevertheless it looks pretty good. Although wouldn't it be easier as ursonvs said and do a gk front swap? (like tanc but for a rd2) it looks almost the same but it's from hyundai wink1.gif

The reason I ask instead of searching the interwebs myself is because I know more then a few people here keep files on this stuff.
