I'm So Confused About That Exhaust...
Guys, please, enlighten me : why would i choose headers VS resonator? Or when i'm throwing in headers i need to put a resonator somewhere else?
sorry for n00b qs....just all what i read says that resonator takes off pressure.
thank you

The resonator would go between the headers and the axle-back section. Similar to a Catalytic converter as far as pressure goes. Not neccessary, but will give you a nicer tone. Not too long ago there was a thread with picks of an exhaust with a resonator installed.
If you get a header you will need something to keep it quiet, either a resonator or glasspack.
I bought Maintec Racing headers, the steel is thick, the welds are good. The piping in my exhaust is thick as well. The flowmaster I bought is known for keeping things quiet with a nice tone. Still got header buzz. 26.5" glasspack shut it up, probably killed 60% of the noise, i can hear my motor again.
Get the glasspack if possible before you do the piping so you save on material costs and labor.

My Motoria sounds beautiful with R-Side 4-2-1, and my 35" thrush glasspack shutting it up, along side a 16" magnaflow cat. Of course, header buzz is inevitable, ESPECIALLY if the car isn't warmed up.
I have an automatic, which sounds like cheezballz, but once I swap the tranny the exhaust will sound even sexier.

You got that backwards
Its not needed at all, a turbo set up esspecially doesnt need one. I have 2.5" piping and only a straight through OBX muffler and it sounds great.
remember a turbo is its own sound deadener, it acts as about 1/2 of a muffler, so its more needed in an N/a set up to help drown out buzzing
No buzzing with turbo. its all sex
