Well if you are trying to mod your car, you can't be cheap on certain things...

The only way you well be able to tell how much horsepower you have with your mods to take it to the dyno...I know here in the Tidewater area of VA...you get three pulls for about 65-75 bucks...You might be lucky and hopefully a shop will be have a dyno day, were you only pay 35 for 3 pulls

edit...

A SAFC II is a Super Air Fuel Controller(piggyback not the best one for us)

not that much more then stock.. i would say about 160. or less.. the afc is a bad ideal.. i sold mine when i went turbo it works good on the sonata but i had nothing but problems with the tibby when i was useing that.. but granted when it first came out it was the shit and it was a must have the tunning here has grown up alot since then.. and now no one uses it. because everone is going to the 16-bit ecu
GK ecu.. there is a shop down the street from my house the guy there are running a sonata engine with the 16-bit ecu.. but it you want gains get a match ecu and cam set 272 or 268 then you will see some better ##

I think he means that carboin fiber one which is legal in Australia? You should get more than stock from that but not much more.

try again:
Super Air Flow Converter. It doesn't control fuel, it controls how much air the ecu is seeing, which THEN makes the ECU respond by adding or cutting fuel. It's a common misconception.

The HVE is cool looking, but the angles that it goes through defeat any possible gains, the only gain from that intake setup is the K&N filter. I had one and they're not bad. Though an AEM CAI will do a much better job IMHO. And real ram air uses coolant to cool the incoming air, that HVE unit doesn't do that.
