They're the 6000K and they look white as hell. Not blue like I thought they would.
Couple of problems: 1) The bulbs wouldn't screw in all the way. I tried. Then my mexican mechanic tried. As such, I'm not sure they're positioned right (It's day time so I can't the beam trajectory) 2) The housing covers/cap won't screw on because of the wires. Is there a workaround or do I just get rid of the cap? In my kit, the wire leading to the powersource has an adapter on it, so there's NO WAY to drill a hole through the cover, because it's too big |
you have to drill a hole in the cap.
|
there is a DIY for this.
I think there is two... I suggest following Hyundai's guidlines for aligning yoru headlights after your FULL installation (when you are done f***in around with the headlight screws and caps). After my installation they were, WAY off. Probably just moved stuff around (I completely took apart my headlights at the same time for other reasons..) |
look in the DIY forum please. thanks you. wink1.gif

Drill a hole about a 1/4 inch wide and put the wires through it. Is there a grommet on the wires? The hole needs to be barely smaller than that.
|
Yes, there is a grommet on the wire and theres no way its' fitting in a hole that's 1/4 of an inch thick.
|
3/4 inch hole for the grommet, 1/4 inch hole for the power wires for the ballast.
and the bulbs dont screw at all. they sit and are held in place by a pigtail spring clip. look in the diy forum before asking anymore questions. it will answer everything. |
Another case of SEARCHING WOULD OWN YOU.
It's been posted, tons, within the last WEEK on how to do this. Every step. CLOSED. |
