i been having car problems for a week and the car keeps acting funny. if i give it too much gas it just studders and does not want to go. i took it to hyundai and paid 89 bucks to tell me why my cell is on and they told me i have too much air going in...ok.i was pissed cuz they told me that my CAI is the prob lol. i drove the car 2 years with it and never had prob with it..they said it might be my maf but they dont know cuz i have a cai...i had have new O2 sensors, fuel filter, spark plugs and wires just put in.. i have no idea what is wrong with it when hyundai reset the cel it runs better and doesnt act up, i think it is the maf....need help any ideas would be great.

it is probably the MAF. Try running with it unplugged and see if it works ok. Your car should run relatively fine with the MAF unplugged.

dear god....

1.) never go to your dealership again

2.) don't listen to funkypc
(^^that's like saying;
my brakes are acting up..
funckypc: well, take them off and see if the problem goes away...)

3.) go to autozone and have your car scanned for FREE (not $89)

4.) come back here with code for spoon-feeding..

your car will run fine with your MAF unplugged. You will likely get a code, but your car will figure out the AFR using the TPS and O2 sensor. Very simple and safe diagnostic.
