Well, i'm gonna check that, the o2 sensor...right now i just have one o2 sensor connected and i need to buy one cat to connect the second o2 sensor, from what i been reading...

About the sound of the headers, i already have a flowmaster muffler, so your suggestion is to buy a galsspack??

and yes my engine is too dirty. i haven't had time to clean it, but one of these days i'm gonna clean it... lmao.gif

yup a glass pack will help along with a cat. if your second o2 is not in the exhaust that is why you have a cel. get it put in with your cat and reset your ecu and it will go away.

yeah, if both of your sensors are not plugged in, you've got a CEL problem and your car isn't running good. it runs lean on fuel, isn't economic, and your computer isn't getting any readings from it.

get a high flow cat, with an O2 bung with it. have a shop weld it in. my car had two cats. i relocated my sensors... and that's another thing to watch for. try to make it so that you don't have to relocate or extend your sensor wires. stupid meineke f*cked up and put the cat in the back of my car and i had to extend the O2 sensor there. ppfffff.

I assure you from the smoke I had for a few days it runs rich, not lean.

I'm looking at Carsound cats by Magnaflow.

Personally, for a 2.5 inch header, I'd go with the 53900 series (13 inches length and comes with an o2 bung -less cutting and drilling = more $ saved)

If you're interested in a Cali compliant cat, which I'd recommend simply because it's better for the environment and contains more reactive catalysts, go with the 43000 series. I'm gonna look for these on Ebay tonight.

From my understanding, these are cheaper than Catco.
