I finally installed my headers, and i'm happy with that. but there is something, the headers are too noisy and i was wondering what can i do to reduce the sound...if there's something that can be done...well thanks

Also when i was testing my car i noticed one of my "caution" lights was on, but i don't know what that means...that happend after the headers were installed... and when opening the hood right after finish driving i noticed my engine a lot hotter than before and i could feel the heat, maybe that is completely normal because of the headers or should i do something??? thanks a lot...

The headers do make it really hot, so dont worry.

About the noise, there isnt much you can do about the header noise.

Im not sure about the check engine light, I heard some people get it after installation of headers. (I didnt though) But I am not sure.

what did you do about the oxygen sensors? I am pretty sure you are getting the CEL (Check engine light) due to them.

^ I thought that was just with cars that had two cats. Don't all RD2s come with just the one?

From my understanding you shouldn't get a CEL if you have the 1st O2 sensor before the cat and 1 after the cat. Many people have had t olengthen the second O2 sensor wires to put it after the cat.

Both my RD2s had two cats.

But yea, thats an emissions light. You didn't relocate your oxygen sensors.

My RD also has two cats... like everyone above said, you need to relocate the second sensor to behind the remaining cat.

what's the cel code saying?

as everyone have mentioned... we thinks it's about your o2 sensor.. but double check and read the code

yes, the noise is the downside of having headers... a galsspack and a good muffler is your fix
