how long should i expect my header wrap to smoke when it is first applied? i had the car running for about 10 minutes and it was still smokin and i just dont know when itl stop.

mine stopped after 2 mins.

Mine was on the DP though not the header.

 

pretty sure it's been covered-... but ehh it'll smoke for 2 days (or was that the smell lingers for 2 days) either way-... wait 2 days and if your header wrap is still smoking, check to see if something's on fire.

It'll probably smoke for a bit. My downpipe is wrapped and it smoked for quite a bit (10 mins or so).

 

Mine smoked for a few hours, but the smell was there for a few days.
