I have a 2000 tib its standard and n/a. I also have a aem cold air intake have the magniflow cat, Motoria catback, dynomax ultra flo muffler. In the next few months i plan on getting my TB bored and my intake manifold ported, a 1.8 ECU swap 1.8 cam swap. Which header would best fit my setup Megan Racing, OBX-R, Shark Racing 4-1? OBX-R brand new is $200 But what is the best choice for hp and tourqe

 

I have the Megan Racing Header and I love it... It's a little buzzy but it's not that big of a deal. Plus by far they look the coolest. C'mon look at them:

 

No question at all here, get the Megan style one, I believe from KFX. Outsurpasses absolutely everything else out there, and it supports our vendors! OBX = owned.gif

 

get the megan for sure. its only downfall is that it doesnt come with a downpipe, so you will have to upgrade the entire exhaust, not just from the cat-back.

so you will have to buy the 300$ header, then spend 100$ or so do get the rest of the DP made.

if your on a budget, get the OBX, cuz it includes the DP and everything, all for 200$

if obx still made the 4-1 i woulda recommended that over all of them.

they all are going to make around the same hp/ft.lb gains. you wont notice a difference between any of them.

 

i have OBX headers and if i would do anything different would be the Megan Racing from KFX
