Picked up a 2001 Tib last night for $1100. White color, 80K miles on it, runs mint, spotless exterior, interior and engine bay, but has bubbling window tint, no radio, blown headlight, and the clutch is slipping a little bit. All very easy fixes I can do in a weekend. Already has an AEM intake, fart canon muffler, and lowered on vogtland springs. Not sure what my plans for it are other than just fixing those little things. Probably gonna get a nice set of 17's, get a better exhaust, and be done with it.

What are people DOING with their cars, looking at them all the time? My 2000 has 170k miles on it. An 80k 2001 model is just crazy to me.



Then again I came up in Houston, where a 1/2 hour commute is getting off light so my perspective may be off.

 

Funny it's usually the other way around- Tiburon --> Gemesis.

 

Stocker, the 2k I bought had 79k on it, was a narc car before hand.

I rolled 80K a few days ago.



Edit: car is a 2k, not a 2k1... always confusing it with my friends...
