So my gf and her co-worker decided to have fun with a self proclaimed car enthusiest who claimed to have extensive knowledge on all cars.
So now according to them I have a $50,000 tiburon, due to being a special order shipped from Korea and converted to a left hand drive so I could legally drive it in Canada.
It all started with him talking about the "Tiburon with lambo doors." My gf's co-worker then said yeah that's her boyfriend's car.
"Where did he get the lambo kit from?" He asks, "It came that way." She told him, then the story unfolded.
Also my $5 LED puddle light mod now cost $1000 for the parts.
A couple of grand worth of stereo equipment from the factory, (didn't know sony did hyundai stereos, lol) and apparently the aftermarket steering wheel, one of those airplane style, (open top, kinda batmobile steering wheel looking) came from the factory installed too.
They then went on to tell him that after the rest of the modifications are done, it would be worth around $100,000.
He believed it and left the store commenting on how lucky I was to have a gf that puts up with my gratuitous spending on my car.
I was laughing so hard when she told me this tale I almost crashed my $50,000 special edition tiburon with lambo doors, lol.
