Exhaust for coupe rd
 
hey guys so few weeks ago my car started to lose power when i applied gas and making farting noises and sounds sh*t when trying to rev

i had a look and there was a big ass hole in the muffler and all this sh*t was falling out of it so took it to this muffler exhaust place and he said he has to replace all the stuff located under the driver seat to the end muffler he said 600 bucks i thought this was a bit much so took it to other place 400 bucks but he has to order the parts in for my car is this price seem alright or too much?

You can get that stuff cheaper off ebay or go to a junkyard with a buddy and DIY. That's what I would do.



They'll sell you all that for $50-$60 altogether.

To put those prices in perspective, I ordered a miscellaneous box of 3" mandrel bent pipe in various angles and took it to shop to build me a custom 3" mandrel bent exhaust. The shop pieced it together and included a 32" glass pack. All together was 350 including the parts I bought, the parts the shop used, and the labour to make and install it. I'd say shop around more.
