I have been going some research on the site and been calling around for prices for a custom exhaust and i was going to purchase the magnaflow cat converter and a 18" Streak Glasspacked Resonator...and this one shop said they can powercoat exhaust piping, just wanted to know if that is good or bad? Cause i espically like the way rd1tib exhaust looks.
I would like to thank you guys in advance for your help

how much are they goin to charge you? and i just got a 2.5" catback w/ magnaflow and LOVE the sound. i dont think its necessary at all for a resonator, but i also dont know how loud you want things. there isnt any REAL need to powder coat your exhaust. id wait though...apparently there are some exhaust setups being made for us right now by apexi, and flyryde....wait and see about those because they will both be top quality.

Yeah, powdercoating is for looks and to prevent rust. Ask them why they are powdercoating it. If it's because they aren't using stainless steel and don't want it to rust, DON'T DO IT AT ALL. The inside will rust out anyways.
Midas is a decent choice, look for MANDREL bends, not crush bends.

^^^
What is the material that Midas uses? and wouldn't it rust also?
and what is the difference between mandrel bends and crust bends

I'm not sure what your local Midas shop carries. Best bet is to call them.
ONLY have them make you an exhaust if its out of Stainless Steel. Mandrel bends are made with a machine that does not change the diameter of the piping when they bend it. It stays uniform. This is a BIG benefit over stock, since stock is crush bent, meaning at the corners the piping has a smaller diameter.
Mandrel bents are for easy flow of the exaust system. That is why most people go with a new SS exhaust over stock and also for bigger piping diameter.
