Don't think so. I believe the Rd came in grey, black, and black leather.

The new Tib came with a tanned interior limited edition. The old RD's never did.

Let me explain. I knew about the "German special" with colored seats (somehow I thought the seats were white) but I honestly don't think the "German Special" was actually made by Hyundai. I believe it was personally customized and rumored at UKHCS, if not one German dealer that decided to release a few (definitely less than 200) of these on their own terms.

Um 160#s is a huge difference

To do that to a normal tib youd have to strip out most of the interior

That is, if the car existed

if it did exsist-... if the whole car was made from aluminum (i doubt it but it's how i read it) 160lbs is not much. if the doors hood and hatch were aluminum i could understand.

I'm not 100% certain that German special existed, may have been a couple prototypes made, but info on them seems scarce, so much so only UKHCS knows of them. Wasn't there a German member on here, can he confirm?

As for that Korean special, not even a photo, it's an artists impression, looks very similar to the origional F2 with added racing stripes.

As for the weight loss, on uk models the gen2 (RD2) is 50kg lighter, that approx 110lbs. Nobody on the UK clubs ever knew for certain where this was lost.
