For my exaughst i want to do the following
SR 4-1 headers
2 1/4 inch piping
high flow cat
cherry bomb glass pack

I have a couple easy questions
first of anyone think this will work good
2nd what is a good high flow cat to get and wehre can i get one
3rd where could i get a cherry bomb glass pack(im thinking advanced auto might carry them not sure)

 

1.) I dont see why it wouldnt
2.) Bosal
3.) Meineke

 

as long as you have a manual transmission it sounds good. but get 2.5" piping.

 

I'm looking at basically the same setup.

SR 4-2-1 Headers
Highflow cat
Glasspack
2.25" custom exhaust
Apex-I N1 Muffler w/Silencer

What size glasspack are you going to use? I've seen between 27"-31" for around 15 bucks... Are those too long??

EDIT: Ha... I guess I should have done a better search wink I've ordered a Dynomax Thrush Magnum 24 1/4" to go with all this. Hopefully that will keep the sound down a little. smile.gif

yeah i got a 5 speed trany
i figured with 2.5 piping i would be losing a little bit of torque and gaining barly any hp with it, stupid 4 bangers nayways lol no j/k
im acully suprised how good the hyundai beta is. it amazed me

another good question came up....what size of glass pack would u peopel suggest?

 

not really i just got a 2.5 glass-back put on my car and i didnt loose any torque and i atleast picked up 2-3 wheel horsepowers i hope rolleyes.gif
but i also have a 2.4L under the hood

 

Like above I just ordered a Dynomax Thrush Magnum glasspack 24 1/4" long, 2 1/4" in/out along with a Catco cat 14" long, 2 1/4" in/out from Summitracing.com.

I started out with a muffler from a local speed shop by the brand *Vibrant.* (i dunno if youve heard of it.) anyway, i then eventually added the MBRP 2.25 catback midpipe section, and my 2001 tibby has the most beautiful sound...low, deep growl...mmmm...anyway, yeah i recommend the MBRP from Speedstate.com
