its only the stop lamps. i checked out the schematic at webtech, and the stop lamps are the only things on the circuit.

cool ^^

Im looking at one right now, all it is is two wires coming out of what looks like a little metal heatsink (wire taps included)

so basically tap the power and ground wires and find a place to screw the metal part on. thats it.

I was thinkin about that too, I know they flash like that for that reason, I turned on my blinkers when one of my corner bulbs was out and it was fast as hell. Coolio. I've got no problems with them blinkin fast, I just want my shiz to all WORK.</div>

Some places... Like NJ.. will fail you if your blinkers work too fast

you know how incandescants can be lined up in series and just keep getting dimmer and dimmer, and LEDs go dimmer and then off?

an LED will drop it's FWD bias in voltage. LEDs work funny because of their foreward bias. An LED takes a certain ammount of voltage to power its P/N junction and everything else is passed through it. You will get voltage applied minus about 2V out the other end of the LED.

aside from the voltage dropped for foreward biasing the LED works the same as an incandescant.

Okay, the last post in this thread was over a year ago. Hell, a year and a HALF AGO.

What does your post have to do with that or anything else in this thread? Cut it out man.

Didn't realize the thread was that old. that's probly the reason that the LEDs won't work in the tail lights though mang. something is supplied power through the tail lights and it's not able to get that with LEDs because of the FWD bias voltage dropped by the LED

We know why it won't work. They have too little voltage draw. This is why this thread was started. Please pay attention to at least the YEAR a thread was last posted in.

Stop posting in here unless you have a new issue with this or have other data folks.
