OK GUYS. I got a CEL and i ran my car on the scanner and i got #P0136 Which is the 2nd O2 malfunctioning. I have a motoria exhaust and a catco cat. The O2 is like 6 inches after the cat and its about 1/2"-3/4" into the pipe. I did extend my wires to reach and did it one wire at a time. So could it be just a bad O2 or is it something I did wrong??? THANKS

Sounds like it just might be a bad o2...you got it after the cat and all that good stuff so id say it just went bad or your wire job went bunk, maybe something came loose?

Well after a month I still have my CEL. I was SEARCHING around and I came across something about not soldering the reference wire and to just crimp it. Could someone please tell me which wire that is.

Did you change the O2 sensor? If not, than that is your problem. Make sure there are no breaks in the wires. That would cause a malfunction as well. Also, do you have headers, or just the high flow cat and back?

When you extended the wires, how did you do so?

I extended them one at a time and I used solder and electrical tape. And I do have a header.

The wire I used was a little bigger than what is on there. And no I didnt crimp the wires. I just soldered them and wrapped them up. I dont think they are touching a bare wire but im going to take the O2 sensor off sometime soon like today or sometime this week and take a look at it and maybe re-do it and just crimp all the wires.

Did you replace the O2 sensor? If you messed up wires, you would probably get P0138 or P0141. P0136 means the O2 sensor is not reacting to changes in the exhaust, or is just sending a flat 0 Volts continously. If the heater wires were placed on a signal or the ground, you would get a heater malfuntion, P0141 or maybe short out the ECU. That means your heater must be hooked up properly. If you switched the signal and the ground, you would get a continous 1.2 Volts from the O2 sensor, resulting in a B1S2 High Voltage (P0138). Either you have a break in your connections, or you have a bad O2 sensor.
