Hi...

I wonder to know If I put an straight catback without a resonator. just the CAT and a Muffler. The noise would be very high or not?? or the catback without the resonator???

I planing to do a 2.5" diameter for my Turboplans... I don't want backpressure at the point of loosing power.... But I hate loudness... (I know that I need some backpressure)

with a just a hi flow muffler it is going to be very loud, the turbo will reduce the sound a lot when you get it

I'm not running a resonator with my 2.5inch catback, and its not loud at all. Course my opinion of loud may be different than yours... I may have been around loud engines and music all my life which may have f0x0red up my ears.

Again, there is always the option of getting a silencer on your muffler

That messes with performance too much... if the sound is too loud for you, you can always put in a glasspack... I love those things.

Sorry... I'm lost in this... what is "GlassPack"?? <_<

Also.. I was thinking in the muffler of an Subaru STi or WRX. Has a good low tone and is not too loud

im not positive but i think the muffler off of a sti will sound alot different on our car due to them packing alot of power. might be wrong. on a personal note magnaflow has a nice sounding mufler. check out their site and hear it.

by the way sharkracing.com has an exhaust too

I had an exhaust without a resonator and I couldn't stand long trips with it, I buzzed like there was no tomarro. Now that I have a KRD with the resonator, the tone, in my opinion, is deeper and not nearly as annoying.

Anyone know where I can find the dyno comparison of the stock exhaust and the ARK N2 Catback for the RD2 Tibby? Kind of off topic, but not really..

In the post where the Apexi was sold you can find a dyno of a 2.5inch exhaust vs. stock. There won't be too much difference between those two.
