Camshaft Durations???

Ok there are all these cams floating around with no real data on them some are 268, 264, 270,272, 282. Can any body tell me if this is at .050 or 0? cus it makes a damn difference. Most people seem to be tards at this information. Most of the V 6 8 motorcycle engines i work with give me a duration and then the duration at .050. One of the reasons I have not gotten cams thus far. I think i might just pull mine and go for a hard weld and regrind from Web Cams they did a b****in job on my motorcycle and then i get the cam lift Duration blah blah blah all of it to my taste. Might cost about the same as most of these so called kits or less. After all there is a motor sitting on the side of the house waiting and wanting to be built. Anybody have thoughts on this ???

Me, denist and a motorolla cup tiburon have regrinded cams. The result is quite nice.

I'm almost 100 percent sure its not at 50 thousandths, its just the advertised duration, none of the companies thus far have given duration at .050.
