^^^ don't know if it's the original engine but it fired right up and sounds like it's running like a champ.

I think it is neccesary every time i buy a car to give it a quick tune up, by replacing easy parts. Plugs, wires, oil, all other fluids, and brake pads (possibly rotors).

Ive done it on all of mine because i wasnt sure how much/little the car wasd beaten before it was in my possesion, so i just replace the easily worn things.

Wow, I'd think there has to be other Tibs with lower mileage and in good shape for you to consider. You'd have to be getting an awesome deal on this to even consider it. I'd be ready to replace every piece at any moment.

As far as right when you get it? All fluids(Tranny, brake, oil, coolant), check belts, plugs/wires, brake pads/rotors, and have backup cash for anything major.

Wishing you much luck! Don't forget to CARFAX!

he's asking $1900 paint looks great interior is decent. All the panels are good but the drivers seat is showing some wear (leather seats) and the back seat buttons to drop them down probably need to be fixed (one is poking up and turned) one thing I noticed is it's low on coolant and there appears to be oil on the block just under the head cover, head gasket maybe? appears to be no rust at all.

keep in mind this will be my second car that I plan on turning into my daily driver for when I do more heavy mods to my RD2 so it's not like I'll be screwed if/when something goes wrong... just need to know if it sounds worth it though. the only other RD1 I've found for sale around here was wrecked pretty bad (rear quarter panel Fed and had no front bumper)

Maybe do a compression check? Hmm... is that the right word for it? I think that's right.
