alarm fob broken

Default alarm fob broken

as you can see, the alarm remote broke, whats the cheapest solution to this fix ? thanks.

I opened mine and dug out a little channel in the sides of the now-broken loop. Install a loop of wire (soldered into 1 piece) laying across the gap, looped into the inside of the body of the fob. Reassemble. cover with a hard epoxy for looks.

nice i like that idea stocker... also i was thinking about buying one on ebay for 20 bucks, taking out the circuit board, and putting mine in... but its 20 bucks.





mighty putty ? is that like a hard epoxy type putty... back in the day my father had this 2 part stick of putty, that you mixed up and it became rock hard. i cant find it though.

It's a bit sad to say but I've fixed body damage, to leaking radiators with that stuff. It works. Not always preaty though, just a warning.

never even heard of mighty putty. i wonder if one of those highly qualified walmart employees would know where to find it?
