Just out of curiousity. I was wondering why most people recommend the AEM CAI as opposed to the Injen. Is it a cost thing? or just a preference. I have the Injen, but most people seem to opt for the AEM.

I tried searching for a comparison, but only came up with a couple Injens that were up for sale.

AEM places the air filter behind the driver's side foglight, which is way outside the engine compartment, unlike the injen which is underneath the battery tray. The AEM draws in air that is a lot colder.
AEM > Injen.

Yeah, the Injen design makes it a WAI... Not a CAI.

There was a HUGE thread about this shortly after the site started with all the breakdowns and such.

I've never seen a dyno for the Injen, but at an extra 100 to 200 bucks, and warmer air?

No thanks.
