I was looking at the SFR Site and saw this acceleration pulley, and I was wondering if it is worth it.

I have the power pulley and I really felt the difference before and after the pulley was installed. Would it be the same for this one?

Thanks,

I had a hard time figuring out how to put together the image and the link, I was inserting conventional HTML code, as some of you may know [img]http...[/img]. Just wanted to share my little experience...

I had to look it up to make sure it is what I thought it was. I don't think the price is too bad on these. I haven't seen any reviews or anything but I can definately understand the concept. I really do not have a problem with the acceleration though. To me it would be more of a dress up item purchase.

BTW, I don't believe there are many forums that allow HTML code to be used, the majority use BBCODE because it is safer for us.

I'm assuming you have a manual tranny, well guess what type of tranny I have 02.gif , that is why I'm kinda interested in this.

BBCODE sad.gif ...I'll have to look up for that code and learn it tongue.gif By the way, did you change my misspelled title?, if so thanks.

It's a decent upgrade, won't do a ton but you can notice it.

More often than not, this pulley is used to add Cruise to a non cruise BBTB.

if you already have a bbtb, would this pulley be close to (or the same as) the same specs on the bbtb? basically, i've got the rside bbtb-... is this a watse of my time?

why not take shoes off (foots lighter so it goes faster), adjust the gas pedal, adjust the slack out of the cable, and do foot exercises? lmao.gif What redz said people use it for makes a hell of alot more sense.

my thoughts exactly, its not rotating mass like a lightweight crank pulley. i understand the CC though that redz brought up.

Actually if these are smaller in diameter it would lead to quicker acceleration. Just think of the gearing on a 10 speed bicycle the higher gears are smaller and it takes less force to pedal.
