Hey everyone. I've been searching around and want to get final approval from you guys on my exhaust setup, as well as a question or two out of the way.

I plan to replace my manifold with OBX headers from ImportShark.

Which brings me to my question...

I know I have to have one o2 sensor before the cat, and one after, but that header has 2 bungs, both before the cat. General consesus is to use a bolt to close the bung in the downpipe off , right?

After my headers I want to have a 2.5" (bear with me on the 2.5) Magnaflow cat.

My friend is going to weld flanges on the cat, as well as a bung after it.

Then I want a thrush glasspack.

After the pack, I want the motoria from ImportShark. It says that it is now 2.48"

This will be my first major mod to the car (got CAI) and I want to make sure I've got everything right. Thanks for all the help on the boards, and thanks in advance for your time/suggestions.

 

The headers should have only one o2 bung, it's in the flex pipe which will go right before your hi-flow cat.
Buy a catco or magnaflow cat that has a built-in o2 bung in the back, so you won't have to do any modding.
I'd suggest getting flanges welded on the cat as opposed to just welding it in, it will be much easier to modify that way.
And I still think you need 2.25"..

 

i have obx header hi flow and motoria. cat you should go 2.25. linked up fine for me. for the glasspack a 2.5 is what should use i hear
