2000 tib cold air intake

I have seen Weaponr's intake but I would prefer to get a cold air intake. Can someone tell me where I can get one for a 2000 tiburon, thanks.

The Shark Racing prototype is on its way to Korea now...if you hold on for a few weeks, you can be one of the first to own it!

Yam....are you guys planning on doing any type of dyno runs with the SR CAI, in order to see how much horsepower/torque it puts out? I REALLY need to get rid of my Dragon Intake soon. But I want to get the CAI that puts out the most power. If I'm not mistaken....MHP, and KORE both put out about 10-15 horses right? Let me know. Thanx! wink.gif :D

Yeah, i want some info on that too. I would really like to get a good cai right now (i am looking at an mhp or kore) but i need to know if the sr cai is going to be worth waiting for. can you give any prices yet or anything.

On the Dyno, The MHP was good for -1 HP and +3 Torque. The Kore was good for +3 HP but -1 Torque. The Random Special CAI was good for +6 Hp and +7 Torque, I don't think the Tunez Special has been dynoed yet.

This is on a dyno, so there really was no moving cold air, just a fan in front of the car, hardly a 60 MPH breeze!

The Shark Racing Prototype will be Dyno Tested on a stock Tibby with stock airbox minus resonator with the paper filter, and If I can arrange it, one with the K&N Drop in filter as well, then the Shark Racing CAI.

Sugar and spice and all things nice! wink.gif
A Titianum/Magnesium composite alloy. Expect them to be about $4000 each.

Seriously...
They will be mandrel bent metal tubing.

QuikTib 07-24-2001 10:48 PM

will they be powder coated? will they look like the pic the Sam posted a while ago?

Random 07-24-2001 10:56 PM

I'm not sure what pic sam posted.

No, to the best of my knowledge, they will not be coated.
