Croat- I don't like to answer questions smile.gif but i will give it a try.Extrune Honed is great but actually nobody here in the shark community has taken the time or empty their wallet doing it so you don't have any testimonies if it works or not.If you want to be the guinea pig go ahead and let everybody know the "gains" i'm pretty sure it will work so what are you waiting for.And to what is called the Onpols work i don't know if it has gains or not it all started as a favor to someone and the good impressions, testimonies and dynos of people is what makes them send the $ this way.My friend has already made 28 IM and over 35 TBs so far and thats Tibbies only,he makes mirages, honda and others too.Go ahead and make your choice Extrune Honed or wait until the aftermarket IM arrives. Is your car so it is not others opinions what counts is up to you and your knowledge so please don't ask me .Like i said before i don't get any $ from this.I Don't own a machine shop either.I do have a CLOSE FRIEND who is INTO racing and owns a machine shop and likes to make business.I do hang out all the time in the shop and i do help people out making it possible to get the job done and making lines at the post office to send stuff but i'm not advertising or chasing them to do the job.I'm not the Pope either.I get discounts (good ones) in works for my car and believe me when i say that i do make a lot of custom work to it.

Hope i have cleared AGAIN some issues to the new people here but to the old ones sorry for making you waste time reading this, you all know me and have make deals with me in the past and know i'm not patience enough to explain ****. See ya and HAPPY RACING.

the BTB and BIM made a 3.5 HP and 3.2 Ft Lbs gain on a BONE STOCK engine.

They should show better gains with some serious mods (intake cam, CAI, etc).

The extrude hone process is expensive, but it is MUCH CHEAPER than an IM from KOREA. When I had Shark Racing look into performance IM's, they were $600 or more. Extrude hone is only about $400, with much cheaper shipping. Given the 2 options...I would say go with the Extrude Hone IM.

Or shark racing could get the stock IMs and get them extrude honed, ceramic and flow coated

The only reason I haven't gotten a throttle body is because I'd rather have just bought an aftermarket IM so I don't have to worry about not having an IM for a week or two.
