2.0 Beta Intake Manifold

Where ohhh where can I find a IM?

Dan over @ Kore said they have one floating around in Korea he wants to market and Bradley @ SR said a similar thing. The main question is is this going to be a prolonged myth, or will it ever see reality?

I know Onpol machines/bores them, but he never responds to my questionative emails so I am kinda questioning that route.

Extrude Hone is very pricey, but worth it as they offer the best machining process as opposed to an actual aftermarket IM.

Any help?

We have access to one too, but we are trying to get our own made to match the TB's that we made. We just havent had it as much of a priority because it really doesnt give THAT much of a gain, so it probably wont be a big seller. We dyno tested a BIM and BTB and it only showed a 3 hp and 3 torque gain if im not mistaken.

I am curious about those dyno numbers. I know the neon is a different vehicle but those guys are claiming to see upto 18 more hp from the extrude hone process.

i have the dyno here somehwere...it was on my old elantra. i went from like 121.1 or something to 123.9 hp

But the real fun of putting TB and IM is for better throttle response.

Yes, new aftermarket IM's do increase the HP/Tourqe nicley and for not that much money.

For the Integra for example, the Skunk2 IM costs $350.00 and shows an average of 7-10 HP, but the throttle response is what you are getting it for (plus with addition to a performance TB and CAI, you'll see better numbers).

I'm just trying to find the best way to go with the IM.

I doubt that you would see any gains from the larger intake manifold without a huge cam or turbo that likes to live in the upper rev range.

What type of gains can be expeceted from an aftermarket manifold & a BBTB?
Thanks :D

There's a lot of people out there that don't give a hoot if it only puts out 3ponies or not! Get an aftermarket IM and we will buy!! Why should Hondas have all the fun?!!
