Pulled into auto zone last night to get some oil since Im due for a change. Parked next to a turqoise RD1 that looked like it has seen better days. Went in, bought what I needed and on my way out, saw the owner in the back of his car with the hatch open. I walked to the drivers side to put my oil on the seat and he started to talk to me about my RD and what mods I had done to it. When I began chatting, I noticed he had an 18" sub facing up and the box took up his entire hatch and back seat area (no rear seats). I didnt notice it when I walked into the store because his windows were tinted pitch black. He was a young kid (probably a senior in high school or freshman in college). I told him about this site and said he'll find anything he needs here. Wonder if he'll join. He got in his car and left as I got in my car and omg...the rattle his car was making from the bass was probably the worst thing I have ever heard. I really thought the car was going to fall apart.

 

Seriously, people do some weird stuff to their cars.

 

hahaha rattle... yea my trunk rattles a bit with my 2x15's , the spoiler flexes about 1/4" - 1/2" and the window flexes some too, when i play some songs.

 

when I first put my two 15's in I had to zip tie the license plate so it wouldn't rattle so much. I fixed it, zip ties were only temporary, but it did hit pretty nicely.
