so i'm looking to buy another tib-... i've looked at a few BUT, i noticed a few differences between my last rd2 and the rd2's i've been looking at.

color matched side view mirrors, rear wiper, rear sqiurter, leather shift knob (those are the few i remebered)-... was i the only one to get these options? or is there a difference between the 00's and the 01's? i know my 1st rd2 was pretty loaded, but i thought alot of that was standard. any help is appreciated-... thanks in advance!

 

its been covered. heres a few off the top of my head:
spoiler standard in 01
painted side mirrors
rear wiper
never heard anyhting about shift knob?

thanks, i did a few searches but was coming up emptyhanded. so are you saying that those items were standard in the 01 or just options? cause the cars i'm looking at now are supposedly "01". would those options be on the base model? as far as the shifter mine was a leather wrapped, these ones are like a rubber with the same hyundai plastic piece on top (as the leather ones). even if you toss a couple of links my way explaining what i'm looking for...

phew thought it was just me-... time to pull out the theasaurus! i KNOW i read somewhere (other than your post) about the spoiler being standard on the 01. i checked a few other sites it could've possibly said any other differences between the 2. i appreciate the help!

 

just because it has rear wiper/squirter dosent mean its 01 i've seen em withouth. but the painted mirrors i BELIEVE are a 01 basemodel option.

and i have the leather shift knob but and its pimp but im currently using the rd1 shifter cause the contour of the knob is easier for me to grab.

 

ya i know that. i think the rear wiper was an option for both years and i know the spoiler was standard for 01. i know my 2000 had painted mirriors and my 01 does not. as far as engine, suspension, things like that im pretty sure they are identical

 

Yeah, I have an 01 SE and I like it a lot more than the 00 one I was looking at. Leather interior and Moonroof cool.gif It's awesome. And if you're buying one you can probably get better financing for it since it's newer and most people won't give you warrantys if it's over 5 years.

leather and moonroof are available on the 00's also.....

 

i hate moonroofs, when i flipped my benz on the highway everything flew out so i had to replace a bunch of my shit and a car. i'll never have one agin, i hate em.
