Pads or Bonnets
 

I bought a new polisher to try my hand at polishing and waxing my paint. It's a Mastercraft with adjustable speed. It came with 4 soft microfiber polishing bonnets. Do I HAVE to buy the waffle style spongy pads in order to get good results or can I use the soft bonnets and get good results too?

Both will work but the waffle style pads are a little more harsher and have a higher cutting power if you are doing paint correction (swirls, scratches, holograms, etc).
