LED lights

So i found this led light kit for my '11 Sonata, and i was wondering if they were good or not.

more than likely they are but you do realize you will have to break apart the sealant that holds your headlights together to install these right?

figmoomoo 09-02-2010 11:28 PM

ummmm, sry my noobness is about to show but why is that bad?

chinoyboi14 09-03-2010 12:17 AM

There's a chance your lights will fog up.

OHHH, ok. so is there anyway to get it sealed again? or should i stay away from led lights? (or should i just get something else?)

Well, if you do the lens re-assembly properly, and put a thin additional layer of clear silicone around the joint, it should be good, that's all i did when I installed my angel eyes and they haven't fogged up on me.

Yep... clear silicone. Don't worry about having it overflow because it will not be seen on the edges. Seal it up well!
