Default Interior LED tubes

I have 4 LED tubes that are white. I'm putting 2 under the front dash and I want to put 2 in the back but I dont know if I should put them under the front seats facing back or somehow attach them to the rear seats. My concern is passengers in the back kicking them. I'm wiring them up to the doors so they come on when you open the doors up. If anyone has any advice to where I can put the tubes for rear light it will help me alot. Thanks.

neon tubes would be more effective since LEDs are typically directional. Under the seat should be fine, just zip tie them to the seat and make sure seat movement (back/forth/reclined) won't crush them.

What about making a clear plexi-glass box that you could put the lights in so the passengers wouldn't hurt them if kicked?

That seems like a lot of work. Just keep your pimp hand strong instead.
