i have 2011 sonata gls automatic. so we all know that the gear shift won't budge unless the break ped is pressed right? right. however whenever i press the breaks i keep hearing the clicking sound from the gear shift............so irritating. whats up with that?

 

sounds like its the interlock releasing so that you can shift. i'd guess thats quite normal operation.
