The Nuvis, which is yet to be launched in the mainstream market, is the eleventh signature car by the California Design Center located in Irvine. This futuristic car blends the best of attributes of a long urban car and luxury utility vehicle.

Hyundai has pledged to become the market leader by 2015 in the U.S where fuel economy is concerned. In the 2010 New York Auto Show Hyundai will unveil a Hybrid Blue Drive model featuring a four cylinder Theta II turbocharged GDI engine with 2.0-liter capacity. After the tremendous success of Sonata in New York, Hyundai is further aiming to be most fuel efficient vehicle manufacturer in the world.

An interesting show was one from the 2009 Hyundai Nuvis Concept from the New York automobile show, which was clear indication that Mazda might be facing competition in their fluid dynamics technology. According to the manufacturers, this model was made for the users of the car, claiming that there are no lines that are stagnant in this car. It is fitted with a 30 kilo watts motor that is electric. The motors, when used in conjunction with the installed six speed automatic transmission give it its remarkable speed.

Apart from that, its gasoline engine is one to desire. The power it produces is out of this world, which in turn goes a long way in giving this car model fast speed. It is fitted with a cargo floor which also acts as a mount for its battery which is of the Lithium-polymer king. This battery operates using 270 volts which is ideal for such a product.
