|
your best bet for parts is
www.car-part.com i got 2000 elantra tranny for $350 shipped to door and $350 for other parts $150 for stock clucth (will change later) and im also putting new seals and redline oil in trans so parts list about $900-$1000 and will be doing install myself will take pics of parts going in and what came out |
Sweet man, good luck!!I'm also thinking about doing the swap,or i might upgrade the TQ convertor.Let us know how it turns out!
|
$1000 for the swap or $1350 for the swap? either way it was a bit pricy sad.gif
But thats probably cause they sent you alot of extra crap ya dont need. We have been playing with my engine in the means of horsepower lately and have notice alot of movement fromt he engine. We think maybe the automatic mounts, the two linked to the crossmember are softer then the manual ones. |
You did get the top tranmission mount chassis side , right?
|
yes i got all brackets and mounts from five speed
engine movement not an issue as i have modified them and it was $850 for all parts not counting litening and balance of flywheel redline oil new seals painting of trans short shifter comes to about $1000 |
