<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(slyderdai @ Mar 25 2009, 06:59 PM) </div><div class='quotemain'>I have a question for you (or anyone that can help me) Either I am blind or it's not there. The Purge valve on the back of the beta Intake manifold??? I don't remember taking such a thing off of the alpha is it needed? IAT sensor? Where the hell is it? again I don't remember it there on the alpha (MAF) not needed maybe again? and in your pics on the front of the motor near the crank sensor you have a valve solenoid looking thing WTF is it for?</div>
The IAT is combined with the MAP sensor. On a MAF car I don't know where it is, but it shouldn't matter where it was at this point. Post up the pic you're referring to and we can identify the "valve solenoid looking thing" I'm sure. I'm not sure about how the EGR system differs on the Beta II.

Okay from Sharptooth's PB album: I don't have this or know what it is.

On the beta the IAT and the MAp are 2 different sensors. here is another pic

It looks like the thing labeled the IAT is actually the IAC. Idle Air Control Motor vs. Intake Air Temperature Sensor. The IAT may be combined with the IAC though, there's no reason why it couldn't be.

The thing on the block looks like an oil pressure sending unit to me.

Ah yesssssssssssss. Idle air controller makes much more sense to me. lol. But I still don't think I have a connector for it.

The Accent's IAC is on the throttle body right next to the TPS. Or are you looking for the IAT still?

Hmmm gotta new problem this week. What the heck do I do about the throttle cable? The end of the cable that looks like a 10 speed brake cable. Doesn't fit into the Beta's hole.

I know it sounds weird but can I drill the hole a little bigger or can I get a different cable to fit in there???

Yes that is a oil pressure sending unit for my after market oil pressure gauge.

I question weather my engine is sitting too high in my bay. I noticed you leveled your engine? How did you manage to do this?
