Common genesis engine swaps

So I know people have swapped in LS1's and Supra engines, but what other engines have people swapped in these cars? Could an SR20 be dropped in easily (no F&F jokes)? Or does it all come down to money and how much you want to spend? I know with unlimited funds, anything could be dropped in but my question is more towards what the easier engines are that can be dropped in the car.

I'm really not sure why you'd do an engine swap unless you're looking for 700+ hp. The 2.0T can be built properly to support 500-600whp. I witnessed a privately owned (not a shop owner or vendor built) 2.0T hit 575whp on a Mustang dyno with a GT3576R. It had more room to go, but there were problems with his MBC and we ran out of dyno time. He's planning on another BTR tuning session this April, shooting for 650whp.

Unless you're shooting for a track car of more than 600whp, I see no reason to spend the cash on an engine swap. There's potential with this car.

Yeah I pretty much agree with this.

Though I mean, if someone wants to put a different engine in their car, by all means...it just isn't cost effective.

When you hear of someone dumping a stock 2013+ 2.0t let me know, I might take it off their hands.

If you just mean the motor, will it be going in the miata?

Just the engine. It'll go in the Accent hooked to a Forte Koup 6 speed.

Even better.

Yeah, there'll be plenty of torque steer. I don't want to build it because it'll be good. I want to build it because it'll be fun.
